Meet NP Akosua

Akosua Ankomah MSN, PMHNP-BC

Akosua is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner licenced in both Ohio and Washington states.  Akosus has over 7years of experience working in the field of psychiatry. She is passionate about helping individuals with behavioral health disorders improve their quality of life. Her specialities include Anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, psychotic disorders, post-traumatic stress disorders and Bipolar and related disorders. 

She has a master’s degree in nursing from Mount Saint Joseph University and a post-master’s degree from Northern Kentucky University. Prior to that she obtained a bachelor of science in dietetics from university of Ghana. She is a certified telehealth provider and offers both virtual and in-person visits. Akosua offers virtual visits in Washington state and in-person visits in Ohio. Her approach is to be non-judgmental, actively listen to her patients, and partner with them when making treatment decisions. Aksoua sees patients of all ages from children to older adults.
